Technology Overview and ReadinessOur platform seamlessly integrates field systems, third-party data sources, digital twins, and AI-based decision-making processes. Acting as the “glue” of Smart Droplets, it ensures interoperability through advanced frameworks like FI-WARE NGSI-LD, enabling different systems to communicate effortlessly. The platform features a comprehensive agricultural data warehouse, crucial for creating accurate digital twin technology in farming and training sophisticated AI models. Additionally, our user-friendly farm management dashboard empowers farmers with intuitive tools for farm management and crop monitoring.

The data management platform relies on field systems developed by other Smart Droplets partners to collect essential data from fields and crops. These systems also execute control actions and decisions generated by digital twin simulations and AI models. By providing the backbone for interoperable data integration for precision agriculture and decision-making, the platform significantly contributes to Smart Droplets’ goal of creating a sustainable and precision-driven farming ecosystem.
